Can Anyone bump my Shift Points And Adjust my AF ratio Without Charging Me $450

All I need is my shift points bumped from 5500rpm to 6500rpm and my air fuel ratio adjusted from the rich 12.0 it is currently at.

I just hate to spend $450 for a couple of quick adjustments.

I am willing to make it worth someones time if anyone has the ability to adjust these for me.

Thanks,

Bill

www.madz28.com

I talked to ian. He was going to do what you mentioned above, disable vats to get rid of security light, make ses for rear o2 banks go away, and a couple other things for like $125 bucks or something. It was one of the packages on his site. Check him out.

Bill, who did your tune? If they're still around, you should be able to go back and have some minor things like that tweaked. It may be a few $$$, but I wouldn't expect it to be more than $100 tops. Any more than that and they're just ripping you off. I could do it, but I'm not familiar with the way tuners commonly adjust fueling through the IFR (injector flow rate) tables. That, and it would cost me $100 to acquire an additional license from EFI Live to be able to write a tune to your car. There's a guy just west of Lansing who may be able to help you out if all else fails. Let me know...

hmm, i've got the laptop and software just never used it before.... if you feel like driving to the east side and figuring out how to adjust it all let me know. shift points should be easy, not sure about adjusting the a/f yet.

The car was tuned when I received it but not sure how well? The car was tuned by Speedworks in Lewisville, TX. I was half tempted to send the computer to Ed Wright and have him program it. It just kills me to think I can screw up the 400RWHP that I have. I was really happy with the tune he did on my 98WS6. On a mail order tune Ed got me 375RWHP and 410RWTQ. Ran 12.0 @113Mph. My new car should be faster. Better stuff except the converter. Old car 3600 stall, new car 2800 stall.

Hmmm, what to do.........

Thanks,

Bill

If these guys all fall through, i got an email address for a guy that does awesome cal work, and you can get a cal in a new PCN shipped to you for around 150 bux, no core charge, a whole pcm with calibration, so you would have a spare, or he does recals, and you could send your stock one back, no downtime.
