What would be a fair price for this car? Ebay item #160006684059. Thanks

Re: Camaro value

Whatever you're willing to pay. It's a collector item, not a car to be driven.

Personally, I wouldn't pay $1 for it. I don't much care for that model year, I think the paint job is ugly, and I'd rather buy a car that was built to be driven than a car that was built to be shown. "Function follows form" never exactly rings true with me.

Now Jake you really aren't telling the truth when you say you wouldn't pay $1for it are you? One would have to be an idiot not to buy that car for a buck if it was offered no matter how much you hated the paint or model year.

Okay, I might pay that and then turn around and sell it. Fair enough.

You would have to pay me to get me to keep it, though.

Re: Camaro value

I was thinking about painting it all red and then some pin-striping but what would it cost to buy something like this? If I could buy this thing for $15k is it too much? I do like the look of this year Camaro.

Re: Camaro value

The owner seems to think it's worth about $25k. There is a reserve, which is probably not much lower than the Buy It Now price -- I'd be willing to bet it's at least $20k.

There are already people bidding on the car. If they're serious about buying it, that doesn't put you in a good position to get a deal on the car.

Are you looking for a car to drive, a car to show, a car to mod, or a car to race? Or something else? This would only qualify as a "good" purchase if you were looking for a car to show.

If you want a '75 Camaro to drive around on the street, I don't think you should buy this one.

Re: Camaro value

Something to drive to shows. My thought....They are driving it so it drives. Looks like there was a great deal of $$$ spent on it. To buy one and bring it to the level this one already is would cost quite a bit. I could just remake this one a little. Looks like all the expensive stuff is done. I hate the paint too but it looks like all that is wrong with it unless the interior wouldn't work with the new paint.
