Thumbs up

barry hensel confirmed it.........this makes it all worth while!

here's the email he sent me.

Hi Jeff,
YES we are returning to MIS this year on Friday afternoon of Camaro Superfest
2003! National Parts Depot will be giving our free tshirts (one per car,
additional can be purchased) for those attending the parade laps, but you have
to register by June 4th, which still gives you plenty of time.

Our flyers are being printed right now and we'll have them at the Motorama show
in NOvi this weekend. They will also be mailed to all past participants, right
about the end of this month. Our website should also be up in about a week or so
at the most. This year, you can register online, if you use your credit card and
PayPal services.

We're looking forward to a great event, hoping to jump to the 600 Camaro mark
and have at least one Camaro from every state east of the Mississippi (west of
is welcome too!).

Looking forward to seeing you again this coming summer!

Barry Hensel
CSF co-chairman

i have never been to MIS but when I went down to Indy last year for the 35th Birthday bash, when we got to go around Indy they kept us all at 35 to 40mph.That sucked. My mom and dad went to Indy for a Volvo show and they let them do 70 to 75??? WTF?? Just is'nt fair.My dad said one dude backed off from the pack in the group and then let her go and was doing over 100mph.Lets just say the folks at Indy were less than impressed with his performance. He got kicked out of the track and lost his privlidges from the club or group for the rest of the weekend there. That would suck. When I was at the Camaro gathering everyone behaved (Even Me) no smokies or anything.BTW did anyone ever find out who did those two big smokies at superfest last year. One was a Black 4th gen SS and I forget what the other car was

I dont know, but it's a$$holes like them, who make it fun as hell!!

I hear that SS won that burnout, even left a pile of rubber still steaming, in it's tracks. I would have liked to of gotten video of that one.

See you there this year!!
