Camaro Nationals question

How much grief are they going to give me about not having a roll bar in my convertible? I think Im going to register for the event but I might not want too if my first pass I get kicked off the track for not having one. Do I need to meet IHRA rules or is it NHRA? Or do I not need to be too worried at all?

If tech is anything like the M events, then you just have to make sure nothing's leaking or falling off the car.

Tech is expected to be supplied by the track this year.

I would be sure to conform to all NHRA rules.

Hey Mike, I got an older snell 90 helmet that you could borrow... if your big'ol melon will fit in it It's my spare sprint car helmet - complete with flames, rock chips, and 100+ uses sweat smell.

I was thinking of going. I mean it is just a bracket race, and I've gone before in High School. They didn't inspect the car all too well. I mean my car is almost stock with a few add ons but nothing big. I dont expect to run faster than the high 13's do I need to have a helmet? Or what type of things would I be worried about at inspection. It is a street driven car so I kinda thought that is the kind of cars bracket racing involves. I guess I want to know if I'll be able to race, otherwise I guess I will have to pass this time. Also I know it said NHRA rules, but I went to the website and couldn't find any listing of rules there.
