We shall see. But he appears to be worth competition.

Nope I AM! If tires weren't so damn expensive I'd do it more often. I have one more video around here that needs to go up yet. I do have a set of Nitto's that need to go and my Hoosiers are almost ready for a final burn as well.

My vote is for Steve. I got the good fortune of filming the one video on his site. INCREDIBLE. There was tire dust on the road after the smoke cleared that looked like black snow drifting across the road when cars went by. Best thing was that was at a all Chevy show...Your such a showoff Steve

This must be settled....

You did watch my videos right? Won the 2001 SLP Day burnout contest. As seen here:

Then there's the donuts behind the oilchange place (2 blocks from the copshop, I might add)... and how about these, from right in downtown Mt. Clemens. I had bouncers from the bar on the corner chasing me, because I smoked out there whole patio Those who were there, were amazed.

again in Mt. Clemens, during cruise night..

and I did this in the middle of the Woodward Dream Cruise. Imagine, 100 people on each side of the street. Cops just a corner away, and me, doing this:

I got video of steve in my Michigan Muscle video and that man is the king of burnouts. No one rolls smoke off the tires like Steve.

I think I can manage to burn up some scuffs at the CamaroZ28 Nationals. If we can get a burnout contest with or without a run afterwards. Obviously we'd need the burnout box, but if you blow a tire then we can back the cars out of the box.

I won't do burnouts on the street tires anymore, the last set cost me $1200 bucks to put new rubber on the car. I'll use some old drag radials or these Hoosiers if they are about ready to kick the bucket by then. I definitely would only want one run at the burnout though, there's no way I'd have enough rubber to do any bracket style burnout competition unless I bought tires just for it. At the moment the money is going towards go fast parts rather than making smoke.

A drunk chimpanzee can do a burnout anyway, so it doesn't really mean much to me. It's more of an entertainment value for everyone else.

Trust me, I'm all about doing it for the crowd as well. I learned my lesson on tires too.... I used to get $99 tires on my salad shooters. But these 275/35/18s are just too expensive.

I need to get another set of salad shooters for burnouts. And I really need a linelock.

Hey Paul,
Perhaps this would be a good time to get discount tire in on a sponsor deal???
