The Trans Am has only 220 miles on the odometer since the last M event. I know what you mean.

 

Its a bit of a drive and I only made it to 3,but they were fun.

 

Ok I live in Michigan...what is the M event?

 

Every October CZ28.Com founders Chris Frez and Jason Debbler rented Mid Michigan Motorplex in Stanton for a Saturday.

Some of the wives would collect the money at the gate and help organize things.

People from the message board would take over Iona Michigan for a weekend of partying and racing.

The local hotel would be booked solid with racers and we would all get together for dinner or a BBQ after the event and party at the hotel after that.

 

So grab the bull by the horns and make it happen. It wasnt rock science guys, just takes a little money investment up front and the fortitude to hope enough people show up to cover your costs, which normally didnt happen

 

I miss it too. Quite a bit.

However, there are a lot of parts to it that I don't miss.

 

I'm guessing you're referring to the multiple months of your life devoted to setting it up?

 

That, among other things.

 

Well like what? Dealing with the track or something? I know you guys put a ton of work into it, I wish I had done more. I'd be willing to do more if it ever happened again!
