Boycott of J.Crew Over Sale of Fur From Animals Skinned Alive in China

Millions of dogs and cats in China are being bludgeoned, hanged, bled to death, and strangled with wire nooses for their fur. This fur is often deliberately mislabeled as fur from other species and is exported into the United States to be sold to unsuspecting customers in retail stores like J.Crew. Video from the China fur investigation can be found at (middle of the page) http://www.peta2.com/OUTTHERE/o-tommylee-chinafur.asp

China, what a POS country that is.

.........

its not our place to decide which animals are used as what, however i will say.

Thats the most un-humaine thing ive ever had the misery to watch, atleast bolt them or something..

Keep in mind, our cattle processing is pretty barbaric as well, imagine how people not acustom to cattle as mass-produced food would feel if they saw how we went about processing them.

In the end, this is extremely un-humaine, but there is little that can be done to stop it.

Sad to say the least

You have to kill them that way. It makes the fur softer, and you ruin less of the meat for eggrolls. Mmmmmm I loves me some eggrolls

I had tears in my eyes watching that video. It's things like this that makes me think we should nuke those bastards.

I worked at a PETsMART for two years, so needless to say I love animals. While PETA still gets on my nerves sometimes, a lot of what they complain about on massive scales (PetCo Cruelty ban, etc) are pretty legit

I would venture to say just about everything peta goes after is completely legit. The problem with that organization is that more times than not they severely overreact to the point of being far worse than the original problem, and thats what gets them their bad rep.

Agreed. After they agreed to stop the boycott of PetCo - Where the Pets Go To Die campaign, they immediately threw up a big article about PETsMART using glue traps in their stores, which is a manager to manager decision, not a corporation as a whole. My manager was against it, and we never used glue traps, or any traps for that matter.
