Bonfire directions..

November 1st, don't forget! It's a week from M8..so just plan for it now...we've been talking about this for a couple months now. If you were at the last one you know how much fun it was. If you weren't then ask around and find out what you missed.

Click HERE then on the upper left enter your address where it says "get directions FROM this location." You must select FROM this location then enter your address...mapquest likes to confuse people apparently.

The directions MAY end with "turn on B Dr. S (depending on the direction you are coming from)... If you are coming from the East just follow that til it ends and his house is kitty corner from there. Fromt he west it ends with "3 1/2 mile Rd becomes B Dr S." That should get you there. Look for the sign on the west side of the road.

Bring your on bottle, some food will be provided (burgers, dogs, etc), but if you want anything special...bring it. Wouldn't hurt if folks wanted to bring a dish for the table and do it banquet style.

Kids are welcome, we'll have goodie bags for them. When it gets later they can watch some movies int he house and we can have some folks rotating some supervisory duties

If you want to bring a dirt bike, go kart or atv, go for it. There's about 3 or4 acres of field. Nothing exciting, but it gives us drunks somehting to do...last time the go kart I brought (and hope to bring again) got much use (and abuse thanks to Joe) lol

Becca...bring some wine coolers LOL

There are hotels nearby, we may have some couch space available, and there will be tents if anyone wants to brave the cold. Campers are welcome too if you want to bring one.

We're gonna kick it off a little bit later this time around, but that means the fire gets going so we can keep warm and not stand around in the cold waiting for it to get dark. Plan on arriving around 4 or 5 or so. We'll fire the grill up around 4:30 probably so we can get some food in the bellies before the livations have taken hold.

Plan on leaving when you get bored or sober up If that's the morning, no problem. We'll burn the place down til we are out of wood or pass out, whichever comes first.

ha ha ha wine coolers... In all seriousness I probably will bring some.

I am also planning on making and bringing a kitty litter cake. Everyone must have some, it looks gross but is delicious.

Mike, the Mapquest program is claiming that it cannot find the address based on your provided link, and centers the map on Sonoma. Could you please publ. the address? Thanks.

Mike is gone this week in PA for work, so I don't know if he will have internet access or not. He asked me to field the questions until he gets back, so I'll see what I can find out and get back to you. OK?

I have limited access. I had to signup for AOL to do it (UGH).

Sonoma is where you want to go. Where it centers is almost exactly exactly where the bonfire is. It's right there where B Dr S dead ends into 3 1/2 mile rd.

I won't give the house number because for some reason mapquest brings it up at the opposite end of the road, about 2 miles away.

If anyone needs more specific directions call 269-979-7902 and talk to either Steve or Shannon.
