Thumbs up Big thanks to the Discount Tire on Gratiot!

Just throwing this out there for anyone who doesn't already have a friend in the tire business.

My wife and I have been going to the DT on Gratiot between 14 and 15 for a few years now. The store manager is Tracy Potter and he is a great guy to deal with. I don't plan on taking my cars anywhere else for tire stuff while he is there. He has always personally handled any work that gets done on my Camaro stuff.

Example...last night, he stayed 2 extra hours after close to mount the wheels and tires on my 2010 Camaro himself because he knew they were expensive (Forgelines and Nitto NT-05) and he also knew that the car was bening picked up for SEMA the morning and wanted to make sure it was done right. Another store manager named Todd stayed almost as late to help. I cannot guarantee that he would do that for anyone, but he sure when the extra mile and then some in this case. He has always taken good care of my family when I go there.

So if you need tires or tire service, go and talk to him tell him that I sent you and he will treat you right.

I was there today picking up my stock wheels/tires and saw Todd leave in a black Cadillac. I think it was a DTS. I did see the blue STi sitting there at that time.

Thumbs up

I know that I already pm'd you Jason, but seeing your car totally off the ground on jacks Tuesday night when I drove by Discount Tire looked AWESOME. I wish I would of stopped and waited around for the install of the Sema wheels & tires, but I had more things going that night. GOOD LUCK at Sema & take ALOT of pic's!!!! P.S. I will be checking into D.T. soon with Tracy because I just found a nail in my tire on the Camaro.
