Attn: West-Siders!

This is your (self-appointed) social director speaking...

I think we need another get-together soon! We had been talking at one point about doing a color tour, but that kind of died out without anything being decided. I think it's a bit late now to plan one, because the colors are already changing, but we can still plan something else. Here's some ideas I had:

1. Quentin, you had hot dogs and stuff left over from the M7 cookout? We could have a cookout at some park somewhere and play frisbee and chit chat.

2. It's time for fresh MI apples and cider & donuts! I know of a cider mill in the Kazoo area that I think also does hayrides and stuff...

3. It's also fright month... How about a haunted house? WVTI 96.1 FM has a good listing on their site of the haunted houses in the area. One that I have heard about on the radio is The Haunt in the GR area, but there are many others.

4. It's college football season. We could actually go to a game (assuming we could agree on a team) or we could go someplace with lots of TVs and hang out...

I'd like your opinions on my ideas, and if you have any others I'd love it if you share them. Also, what upcoming weekends are bad for folks? (I want to know things like "I'll be in New York for a work thing..." not "I can't miss the game on TV!")

Not to rain on your parade, but I am done for the year. My free time will be directed at my wife, children and car mod fest. You need hotdogs, I got ya covered. But as for activities I will say see ya next year. The motor/tranny is coming out of the Red Rag on the 20th. Starting early in the morning. You are all welcome to stop over and get dirty. There will be lunch cooked on the grille, and Moom Mist or else Chris wont come and play

I think that hitting a sports bar for lunch and bevvies would be fun! Or maybe meeting up at someones house for Hotdogs and bevvies and a game! That way we could use up left over dogs and catch a game and enjoy some liquid refreshment!

We could do something more simple, like all get together for dinner at some restaurant... We could even pick a family-friendly one so Amie and your kids can come.

(It should be evening or weekend though, so that those of us like Grover and me who live down in the Kazoo area could make it if it's in GR. Sorry, Cory, but I can't take 3 hours to come have lunch in GR )

I just always have such a great time with all you west-side guys, I don't want to go without anything all winter! I'll be in withdrawal!

Some weekend here at the end of October or the end of November I'll be in Chicago. The 2nd doesnt work, because I'm going to a huge Michigan vs. Michigan State tailgate party and so forth. But any other weekend you guys and gals want to hang out, I'm open.

Next weekend we will be in NYC, the following weekend we have our 2nd play at Miller auditorium and then the weekend of the 2nd of November I am tentatively planning on going upto my Dad's house and installing my new Racetronix fuel pump kit. Then after that the car will probably be put in its sleeping bag until spring.

That weekend I am finishing up a house/pet-sitting gig, so I can't go anywhere. D'oh!

I'm a college student with not a lot of $$$ = I try to make money just about any way I can. House-sitting isn't bad though, I actually enjoy it.

Well, thank you!! *blush*

(I cannot tell a lie, I am quite pleased with myself...)

Rebecca - I'm actually in the perfect spot. Dorr, just north of Wayland. I'm 20 min to Kzoo and 20 min to GR!! I'm not that far away.
