not all... there were 1500 or some odd number V8's in 1987
that was the only year they offered the V8 ttype and is kinda rare... other than that... all other t-types are turbo V6 3.8 liter

my V8 is a 307 oldsmobile engine 5.0 liter

reply if interested

They made T-Types in 87, but im not aware of any V8 t-types. The T is supposed to mean "Turbo"
They made WE4`s, GNX`s, Grand Nationals, Regals, T-Types, etc. I cant tell you off the top of my head how many they made....but I think 3000-5000 t-types were made. 3804 maybe?

Regal Limited w/ Turbo
1,035 Produced

355 ft-lbs of torque at 2000 RPM

Base Regal w/ Turbo
4,268 Produced
245 HP @ 4400 RPM
355 ft-lbs of torque at 2000 RPM

Total Turbo Cars = 27,590
---------------------------------------------------------
1987 Buick Regal Model Availability: MODEL

Regal Coupe J47
Regal Limited Coupe M47
Regal T-Type Coupe K47

No 350 option was available.

LD5 - 3.8 liter (231 cid) 2-bbl v-6 engine (Standard)
LC2 - 3.8L (231cid) sfi turbocharged v6 with intercooler (Option)
LV2 - 5.0L (307cid) 4bbl v8 (Option)

I still have found nothing about T-Type production numbers or a V8 t-type. Ill look later, but nowhere in the RPO codes listing does is show a v8 option for the 1987 model year.
You give me the VIN and the RPO codes and we can find out exactly what it is, not that it matters anyhow. Just curious now.
