I'll be traveling to the Detroit area on business from Sunday through Friday next week and was wondering what there might be to do while I'm there...

 

sunday head out to woodward ave. runs parallel to i75 about 3-4 west of i75

anywhere from i696 up to m59 you should catch the woodward cruise, lots of hotrods both new and old!!

Thanks for the info! I forget about Woodward until after the travel arangements had been made. Otherwise I definately would had made plans to come out a day early and checked it out!

What about during the week? Are there any local car shows or cool local places to check out? I noticed the White Sox will be playing the Tigers while I'm in town. I might see if I can catch a game. Otherwise I'm looking to see what there is to do in the area after work.

on wed the 25th there is the harper cruise. Its like a very mini woodward. its always good time. its about 20 min outside downtown detroit. where will you be staying?

 

I'm going to be staying at an extendedstay near the airport.
