Anyone or shops install clutches?? Also which --
I was looking for a shop or person that will install a clutch in my 94 camaro m6 for a good price. I'm thinking about buying the dual fricition centerforce clutch. I'm all new to this stuff. Will I need anything else? Also how much power should that clutch hold
Re: Anyone or shops install clutches?? Also which --
And DONT use the centerjunk clutch. Anything but that. I seen one killed in under 3 months, without a single track run on it. They are garbage unless you have a vette.

yeah mike, get a spec stage 3. it has lots of grip, not too chattery around parkin lots, and good pedal feel. it held up awesome to a supercharged LS1 that put down 434RWHP on a mustang dyno so I know it'll live behind your setup and your future plans also. but if your gonna up the boost bigtime when you rebuild the engine, maybe just buy the stage 4 and be done with it. but Ive heard they dont drive as smooth so it'll be a little annoying for a while till you get used to it. Ive heard good things about greg at PF&E. I would do it for you, but Im gonna hold off on doin those at home till I get my hoist in the new house. which wont be till next summer prolly. call me when you get an install price cause I may be able to beat it doin it at work. let me know

I had the stage 4 and it was kinda on or off for me. So I went to the stage 3 Spec and it is alot easier on the street, and still holds good enough to completley destroy a Ford 9 inch
Re: Anyone or shops install clutches?? Also which --
I bought the SPEC s3. It's good to 680 ft. lb's, so unless your car is a race car, you don't need the s4. The s4 will not last very long daily driven, and it'll be a pain. It's either in or it's out, no inbetween so stop and go sucks. It will chew up your flywheel too. It's iron isn't it? I forgot. I'm going to be installing mine anyday now, just need a place to do it. I would suggest doing it yourself. It isn't that big of a job.
