Anyone looking for an IT job?

My employer will soon be looking for an IT Helpdesk position. It's north of Grand Rapids, in Rockford Mi. I could try and put in a good word for ya.

We will be looking internally, and if nothing pans out, we will be looking for external candidates.

Customer Service experience would be a plus, along with computer skills.

Wish I lived closer to that position, I need to get my foot into the IT world somehow. Everyone wants someone with experience, but barely anyone will let you GET the experience.

Honestly, customer service is more important then IT skills. We can teach you to be tech savy, but you either have customers serivce skills or don't.

It would be full time (either 7-4, or 8-5, m-f). We also have an on call schedule that we rotate. So, now, I am on call every 5th week.

It hasn't posted internaly yet. We have to do that first, and then look external. Once we post internal, we usually post exteral within a few days. I'm guessing it will be about a month.

Once the posting goes live, I can forward anyone the link to submit your resume. Just let me know your first and last name once you do so I can put in a good word.

Milo.
