Anyone Know Who Won Pinks?

I was wondering if anyone local was the winner?

How fast were the cars that were picked for the shoot out?

Thanks,

Bill

they were still doing the final 8 when i left at 10:45. we actually made it to the all out 16!! the feild the pick was 9.90-10.oh. then they had a under dog class with a pack of 10.10 cars and we made it! then the guy we raced in the all out 32 went to fast and was DQ'd so we made it to the all out 16. so look for a blue with white stripe 70 camaro. it will be on the show. there were cameras in the car and all. and dad was interviewed. thats all i know so far!

It was a pretty good time. The final 2 were a mid to late 70's yellow camaro and a Ford Fairmont. The ford one the best of three. I remember your blue camaro, very nice!

As for the lambos, what was up? How can lambos only pull mid 13's @ 105. Not much of an exhibition..

Getting out of milan was a bear

Yeah...I stopped over in the pits to try and say hi, but he was off filling nitrous bottles. His car had a bit of a nitrous backfire when we saw him run. They said it was running fat.

As for the Lambo's, they were a bit of an upset. I think they didn't move too well because of the drivers. I'd be a bit maticulous about my car if I spent that much on it. Besides, they're more top-end, handling biased than they are straight line cars.

That was a Awesome Show.It was the most fun I had in a long time.Got to watch Taners and Al's runs.Looked for them in the pits but did'nt find them.
Alot of "Surprise" cars down there.I loved that Caddy.I think the Driver of that Fairmont was on his game all day. Great show can't wait to see it air.

Tanner and I were both past the end of the 1/4 by a few hundred yards. I could see his pit spot from mine.

When they were taking the incar camera out of my car they told me about 6 weeks till it airs. They only put about one new episode on a month and it will take them a few weeks to edit anyway. so look for it in August or Sept. They dont even know exactly when yet.

The guy driving the Gallardo was his first time ever racing at the track. The guy in the Diablo was taking it a bit easy on his car.

But yea, you're right, they are better in the top end.
