Anyone know this car?

Ok, I don't post much, basically because I don't have a Camaro yet, but I love camaros. Specially 3rd gens. Anyways, I am thinking about looking into this car...

http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...235&dealer_id=

I was wondering if anyone knows it and can tell me what they think. If not that is fine, just though maybe someone would know about it, before I got myself lost driving from Lansing to see it.

I don't know of the car your asking about BUT........ My friend has a Beautiful Black 89 Iroc-Z for sale if your interested. I think he wants between 5500 and 5000 for it. It has a $hitload of bolt ons. 305 5 speed,T-tops,subframe and southside machine lift bars,Shorty headers,Flowmaster catback, MSD 6a or 6al ignition sys, strut tower brace, etc.etc. This car is one of the cleanest third gen drivers I have seen. I hate to see him get rid of it but if he is,it needs to go to a good home where it would be appreciated. Has new tires on back, and one more thing, Good or bad you decide but it has a cage in it also. If you are interested, post back here and I can get you his phone number. He lives up in the Owosso area. It is probably 45-60min drive from Charlotte.69 East to 52 North up into Owosso. Let me know.

Hey neighbor, I live in Eaton Rapids.

Take a ride up M99 there is a blue Z28 for sale on the northbound lane. I think he was asking like $2800 or so. It has the 17 inch rims and maybe an Iroc.

Good luck, I'll keep my eyes open, Jay

Hey 91 Redd Sledd, I would like the phone number to the guy with the 89 IROC, that is what I am looking for but I don't have quite that much money, its almost as much as a decent 4th gen. I miss my camaro (sold 2002 Z28) law school takes all the fun out of life. Email me if you get the phone number vellaj@cooley.edu thanks.

Harold,
You post *****, He asked me not you. J/K lol. Actually John, Harold can vouch that the car I speak of is in excellent condition. It has a few minor scratches but nothing major. You could eat off of the motor.i would love to buy it but hell I could'nt even afford that car cover (sorry) that I was suppose to get from ya. I still think it would look better on my car than yours Harold.
joe is a really decent guy to deal with also. Look him up he can probably e mail you some pics.It was for sale on ebay 3 times and 3 dead beat bidders screwed him over.

Thanks guys, If anyone knows of any, the car I am looking for is 90 - 92 Camaro with the 350 TPI. Appreciate the ehlp.

RazMiBlackZ28: I will check that out right away, I work at EDS which is on M99, so I can just take that route on the way home. That would be great to find the car that close.

Redd Sledd: That car sounds great, I am just picky and want at least a 90. Thanks though.

I know the 350's are hard to find, but hoping some one knows one out there.

You missed the boat man. They had a real nice White 91 hardtop Z28 for sale over in the Grandville / Grand Rapids area this past summer. it had Baer brakes 13in 4 piston calipers on front,2 inch drop and a bunch of other bolt ons.Gray leather it was mint and sold for $7500 with 70,000 miles. They guy had 3 for sale at one time. The one above,a 91 Z convertible, and a 90 Iroc.He was selling them all to go put a huge down payment on a new Z06. Funny part of it was the guy was like 20-22 years old. Wish I had that kind of money.

Why did have tell me that!!! I want a nice third gen so bad, I had a 90 a year and a half ago, but sold it in preperation to buy a house. Well I need another camaro before I go crazy. That would have been great. Oh, well. I just got done talking to the loan lady, soon I will be camaro hunting. I plan on working on it through the winter and finishing in the spring.

TPIS Miniram - heads - cam, and all new from the headers back. Then work on other things as I work money back up. (It always has been my dream to have a 3rd gen that can smoke most cars)

Anyways, thanks man. Let me know if you find any 350 90 - 92's out there.

Hmmmmmmmm.

Well the link in the first post is going for 4000. I was hoping to talk it down a little. But I am able to go a little higher than 4000. A lot of it depends on what happens with that car. I am guess you want more than 4 something. Am I correct?

Very nice car by the way...

Thumbs up

RCR from the board is selling his 89 Formula. This car needs nothing . It dyno 270 RWHP which is good for a low 13. second time slip with the suspension mods he has. Here is his web address. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/rrabine2/main/rcr3.htm
This is one sweet 3rd gen as you can see from the pics.

yeah, for mine i would........but there are others out there and i was curious as to what your real price was because that can make all the difference.

your looking at a decent milage good condition v6 or 305 tbi rs or a fair condition z28 305....as well as fair condition iroc 305 or 350.

the only way your going to get a 350 91-92 z28 in that range will be high mileage or dumb luck.

lets hope you have some dumb luck....!

Jeff you mean you won't sell your Z28 for $4000.00. The paint on Jeff car cost about that much. I would bet Jeff is like me you couldn't buy his car for $10,000.00. I would have to think real hard about it and then don't think I would do it.

Ya, I hear you guys. Once I get my camaro it would take a ton of money to get it from me. Honestly, I think I am willing to spend up to 5,500 to 6,000. I don't really want to, but if I have to, then I will do that. I was just hoping that car for 4,000 was a dumb luck case. There is a sweet car in Illinois, (I hope I spelled that right) and another blue one in Wisconsin. So, I might take up on those two, they are very very nice.

If all goes well, hopefully I will be posting one of those, "Hi, my name is Travis and I just bought a camaro" posts. I've been waiting for that day for quite a while.

Thanks for the help guys, keep an eye open for me.

Oh, and Chris, that car is sweet. I would love it, but I really want a camaro. I have some plans on how I want it to look and think I am going to stick to that. (I have had a long time to plan)
