Need a 700r4 for a 92 RS

I already have a trans, but to have it rebuilt would take too long. Its for my brothers car and it blew up today and he needs it for work. Having it rebuilt would leave him without a car for too long, so im trying to avoid that route

 

I know a guy that has a good one out of a 86 or 87 Z28 that worked perf. and I think I could get him to sellit to you for a couple hundy. the only diff. between the years are some internal pieces, but if this car isnt built, then there's no need to worry about that. Im goin over his house tomorrow to work on his sons 91 rs so call me and I'll see what I can do for you. if he still has it.

Its for my brothes 305, its a stock turd, so it will probably be ok. Im going to Cedar Point tomorrow, so ill call you thursday.
Im sure it was me, I drive past there all the time, I think your on the east side of the street, maybe ocross from the side street that doesnt go across? I used to live on Kinmore and on Beech north of Hass and have alot of friends over there.
Im quite sure you probably know some of them....especially if your between 22-28 and went to school around there

 

yeah, thats my house'o'camaro's. Im 28, but didnt grow up aruond here. I went to livonia schools and grew up in liv. and westland, wasnt ever out this way back then. when do I get to check out the car anyways? I'll talk to him about the tranny when I see him tomorrow. later

There is a guy in Lincoln Park that does trans rebuilds and he will swap the trans for $550 and a 6 month warranty on the build - he does some extra performance stuff to it and you will not need to buy a shift kit with it - guaranteed to hold 550HP.
