Anybody do any 4x4ing?
Back roads
Your best bet is to drive out into the country somewhere, Romeo, Adair, out toward Algonac, even toward St.Clair, you would be supprised at the stuff you will run into. Thats my favorite thing to do. Anyways, I got a buddy that 4x4s in his nice red 94 TA. Hits parking blocks and stuff. d I was with him one time and we were pulling out of a gas station, and he ran over the curb, beaching us there, where we had to wait an hour to get a tow truck to pull us off. Ill show ya pics some time, funny stuff.

I used to go up to Frederic (between Grayling and *******) to wheel my Toy. Camp on the inlaws' property. Now they're ex-inlaws I've got no free place to stay. The four hour drive from BC makes it an overnighter trip for sure. Lots of logging roads, two tracks and atv trails to play on. Just get an ORV sticker 'cause the law does look for 'em.
Ive got a 79 short bed F-150 4x4. Sand bars, BFGs, and a big 300 cube six baby.
check these guys out. They run around Cohocta MI, up around Flint.

man this brings back memories. I used to love getting out and playing in the mud, hill climbing, etc.
I had a 85 Chevy truck with a 468 in it. 4.56 gears with detroit lockers in both ends, 7 inches of lift and 38 inches of super swamper
Damn near unstoppable...

I got a 5.2L V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee with an ORV sticker... One of these days I'll bet some tow hooks then try it out. I did put some Pirelli Scorpion tires on it in preparation for ORV'ing...
The V8 GC is probably a high-15 second car in the quarter mile... Plenty strong enough for hanging a 4-wheel slide on a gravel road. Man, I love that thing!
When are we going out so that I can make a fool out of myself?

Dan,
Your GC can probably eat my IROC-Z up in the 1/4...terrible
haha
In all honesty, I don't think I want to off-road my Exploder seriously...
WHY? Because then I'll start getting into big tires and lifts, and gears, etc,etc..It would sidetrack my insane street car project
have fun fellas! hehe
