Any Private Track Rentals Coming Up At Milan?

I just got my new 15 " ProStars mounted today and shed about 200lbs total. So, I am now ready to hit the track and see what the car will do.

I hate going on Wednesday's because it is so packed and the wait in line is so long.

I was hoping there be a private track rental coming up soon?

Thanks,

Bill

Bill if you can get to Stanton on a Wed. it's a ghost town. You can run as many runs as you want when you want.
I know that it's a long haul for you but it's only $20 to race all you want to.

You might want to check Motown Muscle board. They might have a track rental in August. Its getting real expensive to rent Milan. I'm not sure, but I think the Royal Pontiac club is paying $1600 for 4 hours. 41 cars showed up for the July 7 drag day and 15 of those were guests. The president of the club, Eric Schiffer, said that if not for members allowing other brand cars, we would not be able to continue the drag series.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping someone from Motown Muscle would see my post.

I hate Wednesday test and tunes because of waiting in line for an hour or more to get a run in. I am going to go this Wednesday and be there at 4pm when the gates open. I figure I should be able to get 5-6 runs in by the time most people start getting there around 5pm-5:30pm. I just want to get 3-4 good runs in then I'll call it a night or just hang out for a bit and watch.

I want to see how shedding about 200lbs (100lbs in rims and tires, unsprung weight) helps my car. I also went from a 17" rim to Prostars, 10" out back and 4" up front. It should make a nice difference!

Thanks,

Bill

That should help your times but its gonna be 97 degrees on Wed. so the car probably wont run so good in the heat, unless you bring your own atmosphere (nitrous).

97, Dammmmm.

Well, I figure if I can get an 11.8 out of my car at that temp I should be good for 11.6 in the fall (50s). We will see what happens?

Thanks,

Bill
