Talking Any cheap fronts/skinnies for sale?...or rent?

I'm looking for a pair of cheap fronts/skinnies for my '99 The thing is i need them by Friday night. A freind of mine is having his birthday party at a rented track Saturday morning and I'm looking to drop a few pounds. I'd also be happy to pay $$$ to rent a pair from someone for the weekend!

i'm hearing that I shouldn't mix radials with bias ply. I'm kind of doing this bassackwards, I'm running drag radials so I should prolly run radials up front too. Right? If I'm not mistaken, the sportsmans are bias ply.

I would have to go look and see. But I dont understand why you wouldnt want to mix them. It makes no sense to me. Front tires are front tires, rear tires are rear tires. I could maybe see mixing bias play and radials on the rear or front, like bias on the left and radial on the right. But having bias on the front and radial on the rear should be fine.
Ive ran my other tires like that. Bias ply on the front with slicks, drag radials and streeet tires on the rear. Never had an issue.

He says he wants them. Was supposed to call me Friday evening to get them but never heard from him.
If he doesnt buy them by the end of the weekend, they are up for grabs to whomever wants them.
I can take pics, but ill wait untill I hear if he wants them for sure or not.

hey guys, just to let you know the only issue w/mixing them is handling. it will lead to a squirly car in the corners. but, I have the et streets wich are bias plies arent they? and I drive like that all the time. ofcourse Im not diving into the corners and ripping out of the turns either. but why would you do anything like that w/skinneys? clockwork you should be fine for the track anyways. email me when your goin to milan, maybe I can bring the old man.and I'll just have to drive my caprice.
