When does the roll cage come in? Just be careful with the spray, start off small and make sure your tune is perfect. That thing is going to run like a beast!

the cage is sitting in my living room. its just a matter of me getting the heads off and back.l as one is already off i havent gotten the pass. side off yet. but the cage should be done by sunday next week.... which means track in two weeks hopefully..... i also had to make my own DS loop... im going to start with a 75 more than likely and most of the season will be on a 125 shot.
ill possibly try the 250 shot at the M event. i figure go big at the last event of the year.

Wow speed racer. Are you going to have it dyno tuned? Are you installing a larger cam, converter? You better get some videos of those runs!

john, if your goin to go for more cam in the future, save up for a roller cam setup. you can go wilder with the cam design/lift but you'll have to redo the valvetrain to handle it. but it would be worth it if you want more then what you got in there now.

also, you should invest in a wideband setup for tuneing. since your planning on changing alot of things. that will make tuning soo much easier. I think you can get a wideband setup for around $200 nowadays.

oh, and is matt goin to do your cage install? let me know.

matt's to busy right now and only likes to deal with Chrome Moly. and like sto make his own cages vs using a kit. he gave me a couple guys numbers, i think im going to have the guys here in lapeer do it for me their shop wants 400 to install the 10pt.

and btw. next season i planed on changing the valvetrain over to run a roller cam. its almost pointless to change cams next year and go to another solid. imbetter of going roller plus i can make a few more horsepower out of just switching to a roller setup. all depends on how much is in the piggy bank by that point. i limited myself to 5k this year and ive pretty much almost hit it so far. btw ill drop those heads off tonight. looks like i need to run a smaller jet in the secondary at least, the pistons show signs of me running rich...
