Thumbs up 3rd gen z28..relisted, lowered price. Gotta go quickly!

I deleted the original thread, and relisted it in this one, so people can see the lowered price..

I don't remember if it is an 86 or 87. He told me, but I forgot.

It's a hard top, has neoprene bushings all around and air shocks. No real rust on the exterior. Has some rust on the floor behind the drivers seat that might require a patch. Has the louvered hood still, In fact the whole z28 package is complete except the wheels. No cracks in the glass.

The interior is all there except the radio. The guy has a STACK of radios, so I am sure he would throw one in that would match if you want it. Interior also needs a good cleaning. Drivers bolster has the usual wear out. I would replace the carpet and seat covers if I was going to restore it.

I took pictures of what dents I could find. There is one on the rear quarter, and then in front of each front tire it is pushed in a little, but I think I could have pulled those out by hand while I was there had I been so inclined.

The engine/trans that came out are a 350/th700r4. He may sell them seperately if you want them, otherwise he has a garage FULL of small and big block chevy motors.

Right now, the first person with $350 and a trailer will get it.

Here's the pics, but be aware that is snow and ice on the car...there is nothing really wrong other than the minor dents I mentioned.

Is the wiring harness all there. Was it cut up when removing the engine. Also what does he want for it with the trans. I can get a engine but need the trans. I have a interior with all the seats and exhaust manifolds, TPI, IROC wheels and tires radio just about everything but a engine and trans. I also have a compressor and spray gun and have painted many cars before. Was the engine that was in it running? Looks like I am trying to talk myself into it. I am interested and will take it if my wife says it is ok. Find out about the trans and if he will go $350.00 for the car and the trans. Also see what he wants for a engine . Does not have to be running but a good block. I would have to find someone with a trailer so would be next weekend before I could pick it up more than likely. My wife is not home so I will talk to her and let you know for sure when she get here. Let me know about the engine and trans.

Q you just beat me by a few seconds.hahahaha

My kid is all over me wanting the WS6 Formula. I was just going to build it for her. I have replaced just about everything on my IROC and have all the old parts. I will find her one that is running and that way I will just paint it and install the interior. I almost purchased Bob's 350 Formula for her. But I thought that was a little to fast as a first car..

Q i sent you a email on the parts I am doing for you.

I'm bringing it back to our race shop on Saturday. I will let you all know what is good and bad on it then. Once it is ready to go, I will give the Michigan guys first shot before I put it into the For Sale forum. Its easier dealing with you guys, cuz most times someone will come get it, or I can load the van up and make a run to Detroit and get the stuff to you that way. I will update you guys then.

Bring a BIG trailer and buy those corvairs while you are there...

Then maybe I can earn some more commission (Thats how I got the free fiero...for selling the 3rd gen for him)

I'd be willing to make a swap for some services if you want to Chris. And I will help with the install too. Just a idea.
