POSTING FOR A FRIEND:
383 SBC Motor. Disassembled. Hot tanked .030 2bolt block(2piece main) w/ new cam bearings and freeze plugs.
Cast after market 383 crank w/ new bearings
Reconditioned rods w/arp rod bolts
Cast pistons w/ new rings(hung on rods)9.5:1 w76cc head
New oil pump and gaskets
World Products S/R Torquer Heads 76cc 2.02/1.60valves).575 lift Crower springs ,screw in studs/ guide plates,roller tip rockers(This head flows better than 461 corvette heads)
Edelbrock Performer Intake
M/T Cast aluminum valve covers

Restored in 1995,replaced doors,fenders, hood, quarters, and tailgate. 35-12.5-15 on 10hole 15x10 aluminum rims. 6inch lift.Heavy duty cooling
5.7 sbc from 89iroc rebuilt +.030,roller cam,rebuilt heads,edelbrock intake, holley600 carb,headers. Rebuilt T350 w/deep pan and new converter(D+D trans),transfer case resealed and converted to part time function. 3.73 gears,auburn posi front and trutrac rear. Drawtite HD reciever hitch,removable hard top
Chocolate Brown Metallic paint with tan interior,seats and Dash in nice shape no tears,carpet worn out.
Great off road/mud/winter truck you can tow your toys with.
WHAT IT NEEDS
Rear pinion gear broke, needs a ring and pinion
Mufflers rotted out
Drivers window needs new regulator(manual)(available new)
Passenger floor needs replacing(still there but weak)(shermans has these)
Speedo cable broken(available)
Both fenders and doors are starting to rust through on bottoms(dont need replacing, just not perfect, rest of truck is solid)
A/C needs o-rings and recharge(leaks down)
Tires will need replacing soon(15% left)
Currently is drivable w/ front axle locked in.
$1800.00 obo or will consider trades? or parting out.
