The 2nd Annual MiFbody Meet & Greet Spring Kickoff Car Show - Saturday, May 13th
Event: The 2nd Annual MiFbody.com Meet & Greet Spring Kickoff!
Where: Stony Creek Metropark, Shelby Township, Michigan
When: Saturday, May 13th
Fees: $4 Park Entry; Show is FREE!
With the 1st of the year only hours away, the Michigan FBody Association is kicking off the 2006 year with the announcement for the 2006 Michigan Fbody Association 2nd Annual Meet & Greet Spring Kickoff. The two most important aspects of the kickoff were location and date. The MiFbody community has voted, and these variables are now set. ALL FBodies are welcome to attend. Other vehicles are welcome to come, but will only be eligible for the Best of Show: Non-FBody Vehicle award. Due to the nature of this event, weather is a major determining factor. Should the date approach and rain is very likely, we will reschedule for the following Saturday. As with any event at a public metropark, alcohol is NOT allowed and jeopardizes the show. Likewise, burnouts, donuts, and other acts that could jeopardize the car show with park officials is highly discouraged. Stony Creek is gracious enough to allow us to use their park for our shows, let's not ruin the opportunity. Following in the steps of last year's 1st Meet & Greet, at the end of the car show we will be cruising around the park and out to the local Dairy Queen. From there, we will then cruise as a group to Woodward to kickoff the cruising and car show season. Now is the time to get the word out, tell everyone you know with an fbody about the show.
Last year's event was a great success. We had 26 FBodies come and go throughout the day, with rain hampering the car show in the afternoon. After the nice downpour, we then cruised to Dairy Queen for some ice cream, and then hit Woodward for a great FBody cruise! This year, we'd love to double that: 50 FBodies!
This is a very casual meet and greet car show hosted by MiFbody.com meant to bring together Michigan FBody enthusiasts and give people a chance to meet those in person with whom they talk to on all the popular message boards. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend, a perfect way to kickoff the cruising season is to clean her up and show her off!
Hope to see you there!

You're tellin me! lol Although it was a kinda cool sight to see all of us cruising around the park while it was still sprinkling, I much rather have dry weather this time.

Just a little bump up from January to remind or let new lurkers know about the get together. We're expecting quite the turnout, with people coming from a lot of different areas all over Michigan (Bay City / Saginaw, Adrian, Grand Rapids, Lapeer, etc) and we will have various clubs represented there too, WMCC is talking about coming out, as well as SLP and some other groups too. Should be a great time!

Two and a half weeks away! Weather's getting very nice out. WMCC will be at the event, as well as SLP, Bay City Rides, City Wide Camaro Club, and *maybe* an LS7 Camaro.
50 car goal? Psh, too low. New goal for the show: 75 fbodies. C'mon out and show off your fbody.
