2 JL subs and Memphis amp for sale

I'm looking to sell these items to someone in the southern Ontario, Canada region if possible. However, if worse comes to worse, I will ship, but buyer will be responsible for all costs. And the subs are heavy. Anyways, heres the run down:

2 12 inch JL W3 V2s in a sealead box powered by a Memphis 1100 watt RMS amp (at 1 ohm)
They are in my car right now and can be heard anytime (for local people obviously). Used for less than a year and subs were NEVER abused. They pound loud and clean. Retail price on whole setup is over $2100. Selling for $1300 o.b.o. (Both those prices are in Canadian dollars) At current exhange rate, my askin price is $950 in USD.
I have a couple of pics and can take more if needed. Mail me and let me know your address and I'll send you the pics.

Thanks,
Ryan

sorry but your asking too much, used jl 12's go for about $150 each, if even that.
1200 watt amps go for about $300. i know where you could pickup some bd1000's for $275 each. i can get memphis mojo's which put out 2500 watts for around 650 brand new.

sorry just presenting the facts.

sorry Kandied, my mistake. i didnt look at your location first, that was $500 CAD.
so it would be $375 USD

and Limige:
Why r u posting if your not intested??

If you looked at the original post, i'm in canada, so u have to do the conversions first. my askin price to Kandied is only a little over $35 more a sub then what when u wrote in your post, and most used JLs i see r in **** poor shape and they've been underpowered constantly so that the speakers r permanately damaged by clipping and distortion. those subs r worth $450CAD new plus i'm throwing in a $100 dollar box as well

This memphis amp puts out a true 1100 watts unlike most of the sony amps which u prolly run that claim to be 1000 Watts and only put out 250watts. and what r u smokin? cause it must be some good stuff if u think u actually get a good piece of equiptment that puts out a true 2500watts for 650

lol, i'm just speaking the truth man, you were wondering why people didn't seem very interested.

my apoligies on the canadian money thing that definitely offsets pricing...

as for the amp thing, i personally have bought brand new directed 1100d's which i ran in compitition and put out a true 1100watts for $325 each new in box.
i know where you can buy bd1000's which will give a true 1500 watt's for 275 used.
like i said i'm planning on running memphis mojo's on my next compitition project which i can get at 650.
i'm also looking at buying a visonik 4000 watt amp for $700. i was leary at first but people have tested it at actually putting out close to 4000watts rms, which is the only reason i'm buying it.

all prices are usd and all wattages are rms, i don't believe it peak numbers, that's bogus.

but these are the cheapest prices i know as well. so anyway, the canada thing is most of the reason for my post i didn't realize the conversion thing. 500-550 canadian isn't too bad for that amp if you would sell it for that.

who knows maybe i would be interested, why don't you post some real info.

what's the model number and year of the amp? do you have receipts? does the amp have spade terminals or direct connects with allan screws? what are the specs on the amp, is it 1100 at 1 ohm or 4 ohm? what is the amp stable to? how much just for the amp? do you have owners manual and box?

ttl,
mike

limige: sorry, i dont mean to get upset, just i figure if someone isnt interested in the product, they dont need to post about it. thats all. but if it was cause of the price, u should just make an offer at what you think would be a reasonable price next time and we could go from there. but there was the mix up about the currency exchange too, no big deal though

i wasnt wondering why people didnt seem very intested at all. high end car stereo (at least in this area) is harder to sell which i've seen happen with my friends numerous times. and I know my price was a bit high at first, but the reason being (and i'm not afraid to say it) is cause whenever i see something being sold on a msg board, it seems as though the seller always gets low balled by the first offer, thats why i did it

anyways, as far as the amp goes, maybe u can get better deals on them for all i know, but what i do know is that that amp retails for 1100CAD up here. however, in case u are actually interested though, here is a link to the specs on it and the answers to the questions u asked:

http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/P08&09_MClass_Amps.htm

it is the 16-MC1000D on that page, except the model number of the one i'm selling is 16-ST1000D and it is chrome instead of black. same amp, specs and all, just a little different i guess cause its last years model. its got direct connect terminals with allan screws. its 1100 watts at 1 ohm stable. i have the box and manual, including the remote gain control that came with it that i've never used.
my askin price for just the amp would be $600CAD or $450USD
i think this is a fair price because this system was installed last May, and the car that it is in, is my winter beater and was off the road for the summer, so it really only has about months of wear on it.

i hope i answered all your questions. if not, let me know. and if u want pics, put your email address up

thanks,
Ryan
