11.99 or slower what do I need for NHRA rules?

11.99 or slower what do I need for NHRA rules?

I figured it would be easier to just ask then try and read all that crap! What all do I need other then a Snell approved helmet. I will be running only drag radials and I'm sure will be much slower than 11.99.

I hope that is only if you are running slicks. I have to have a custom one made up, BMR's wont clear my exhaust!

Not 100% on their rules. I thought if you ran faster than 13.99, you needed one. I might be wrong. You could give them a call tomorrow and ask...

You need a Snell helmet 13.99 and faster.
DS loop 12.99 and faster or on slicks at any ET.

Thats all I can think of off-hand and I believe thats it anyway until 11.99.
