Post 1000 F-Body's at Bowling Green

I'm making my travel plans for this. The event is going to be one of the largest F-Body gatherings assembled. It's going to be held at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. The museum is located across the street from the Bowling Green Assembly Plant where the Corvette and XLR are built.

My plan is to head down on the 19th of September. I want to partake in some Autocross that Friday and Drag Racing on Saturday.

Anyone interested in going let me know. This should be a good time! I'm basically heading down from GR (131 south) to I94 to I69 south through Indianapolis then down to Bowling Green. Anyone wanting to go can try and meetup along the way. Just let me know where you want to meetup or if I need to take a minor detour, etc.

The Best Western that most of the SSOA folks are staying at is a block away from the museum. Their phone number is Best Western Motor Inn (270) 782-3800. I got a king non smoking for 62 plus tax. Just ask if there's a discount for the Corvette Museum event that weekend and play dumb. Works out to be a 10% discount.

I'd be up for camping, but I don't think there are any campgrounds close by.

bummer on the camping, but I will check out the hotel. Depending on how things go in the next week or so will ultimatly determine if I go or not.

I am definetly going, made the reservations at the bowling green holiday inn, AKA payless inn. the number is 270-781-1500 and I paid less then 40 bucks a night. Two nights and it is 6 miles from the museum. Let me know when you guys plan on leaving I would love to get a group to go down on the 20th.

Unfortunately I'm gonna have to bail on this. I just saw my work schedule and I'm in training that week. Unfortunately as my training goes I can't miss it.

I paid for the event already. I'm gonna see if I can transfer it to someone who can use it, since I'm beyond the refund at this point. Anyone interested in taking it, I bought the $60 dollar package that included all of the events and meals. Let me know if you are.

Jason......
I sure hope you're planning on being there for the SSOA Thursday activities on Sept 19th.

We leave Oregon on the 14th of September and will be rolling into B.G. on Wednesday night with fellow SSOA Director, J.R. Mayer (of F-body.com and chirpthird.com fame).

By the way, have all of you visited http://thanks.f-body.com yet?
