1.29/ 1.34/ 1.34 short times! it was a pretty good day all in all

well got to try out the slightly modded suspension! all i can say is awesome, car lifted straight and went straight. first run off the trailer netted me a 9.71 @ 140.54 mph. once i got past 60' out the car was skating everywhere! GRRRR!!!!!!! oh well!

next pass pulled my longest wheelstand to date, i would estimate 45-50 from the video! about 8 - 12 inches in the air the whole way! how sweet that was! that was a 1.34 60' car went 10.01, skating again!!!!

last pass......1.34 60' car again left nice and straight, forgot the bottle i grabbed had been slightly used, pressure went to **** by the time i grabbed 4th(ran a 10.1 @ 133.XX mph). then it gets really good or should i say interesting... i lift at the end of the track and put it in neutral, kill the spray and the throttle stuck open!!! not WOT, but enough that it first shocked me and then needless to say i turned the key off and rolled down! doh!!!!! i will pull the throttle body to see why it jammed up on me!

thanks to the crew for all of the help today!

Yeah that first run was pretty cool. Never a dull moment behind the wheel eh taner.

I had a decent day. Not quite a PB but ran a 13.84 @ 99 mph.

Thats some quick thinking Taner, the shut down area is real short at St Thomas

Good to hear about the new PB's on the 60 fts.

Did anyone else run PB's?

I wish I could have been there, working as usual

the 3.73's got me a 13.27 no mph as that wasn't working with a 1.88 60' with lots of spinning so there is more left

hopefully i can make it out once more this year to get traction before i put it away

Damnit, I heard talk about this gathering a week ago, but I didn't see the post until just now. Would have loved to have gone. Good job Taner, sounds like things are (mostly) working how they should.

PS: What parts were you trying out today?

birdie,

you'll have to see them for yourself at M8. it is nothing brand new to the chassis world, but you'll probably never see it on another street driven f-body. at least not yet!

bob,

never dull is right, now if i could get them to spray a couple of hundred feet out! i was spinning, short shifting ....blah blah blah, lmao!!!! (yeah yeah here come the excuses)

till M8

Never a dull moment is an understatement, all the badgering Roman took kept thinking interesting and the racing was good too

BTW: a new PB for me too 13.44 @ 105.12 on a 2.114 60' plus I ran .50X to .55x RT's all day

Speaking of video Taner... do you still have those videos that you took of me (and that GTO for that matter) when we went to St. Thomas a few weeks ago?

Taner, just give me a call when you aren't too busy. I'll bring my camera over and you can copy it onto your digi-camera or I'll record it on a VHS tape and give it to you. I probably have a dozen or so runs in total.

Did Jen get any of my runs from Sat on tape? In particular my 13.44 run?

Yes,Oct 25th.

But it will not be at M8,no money

I wish I could but I just cannot make it work money wise

But I am going to the TFB vs GTAMC at Cayuga

I hope there are some slow Stangs I can beat
