looking to sell my champions edition yamaha r6. like new only 1500 miles on it. was serviced at 1000 miles, for scheduled check up. not a scratch on it, never been dropped. 100% original never ragged on or tampered with. looking for payoff only $6000! paid 10k for it in 01 and havent had the time to ride it to justify the 4k ive already paid off on it. only a 1000 of these were made world wide, mine is #952. the most beautiful r6 you will find.
would prefer to sell it, but if there are any 4th gens out there of equal or greater value that have t-tops and a manual i may be able to get the bank to swing the loan, if youd like to trade even up. and preferably a transam over a camaro.

this is a decent buy. however, I have to ask; how in the hell did you end up paying 10K for an R6?
I paid 7400 otd for my 02 R6, and less than 10K otd for my 03 r1.
good luck on the sale. I am also going to forward this to a buddy who might be interested.

yeah, but not 2000-2500 more expensive.
at least I would hope.
BTW, for some reason I thought the champ edition r6's were red. Now I looked up one, and they are BLUE, I want this.
Too bad I dont have any money

the only main difference is the color scheme. they look a whole lot better. and they are a limited production bike with each one having its own number assigned to it. internally they are the same, but the likely hood of coming accross another one while youre out riding is pretty unlikely.
the champions edition package cost an additional fee over the regular ones, plus only one or two were given to each dealership acrossed the country so they werent cutting no deals at all on them. the only way to get one was to pay full retail. by the time i paid full price plus all the misc expenses it was $98XX for it out the door. i could have walked away with a regular one for more than a thousand less and with a helmet included, but they didnt look nearly as good, and still dont in my opinion!
