***OFFICIAL*** Nats photo thread

I have had a few members email me their photos already. The FTP client is working overtime to put them on the server. Here is the link to what is there already. Check back as they are uploading as I type. You will have to index surf it till the thumbnail page is done. Feel free to take any you like. But if you have some, please email them to me to share with everyone. dreamer1q@michiganspeed.com

It's no picture, but it's cool

I'm hashing through the video we took of the event, and thought you folks with broadband connections might like to see this preview that was taken from Mr. Dave Bamford's Super-Duper fast Buick. It'll be on the DVD for sure. On the big TV, it feels like you get sucked into the car and experience tunnel vision first-hand. The sound is weird because the microphone was mounted in the trunk of the car next to the fuel pump.

Please don't copy or pass the link around, OK? Just link to this message. I want all the credit to go to CamaroZ28.com (and to Mr. Bamford, who I am sure is scowling at how I've so badly mis-spelled his name.)

I'm working on it tonight! Wait till you see it: I sent you email about the findings. You're going to freak when you see what's happening to your floorpan!

Err, no I haven't viewed that particular page before... However, surely you must feel the shifter jump upwards in your hand on the initial launch? Check this out, run #2, and watch the center console as well as the floorpan area of the passenger side footbox, especially on the shift to second gear. I won't even mention the counter-steering you so gracefully apply

That is one of the coolest videos that I've seen.

Taner, I think that your car is going to break. It can't handle any more abuse. You better dial it back. You can set up that fogger for a 50 shot, right?
