Matt needs someone to assist him with a starter repair. Probably just a jack, jackstands, and some encouragement.

Whoa.. thanks ws6transam..
Ya, I am tool-less, and where the car is I am powerless. Not to mention I have no jacks, stands or anything else. It would COMPLETELY appreciated if somebody could help
Matt

EDIT: The car is actually in Cheektowaga. It's right off of the road that the 33 leads unto.

Matt, If I was closer I would definetly help you out. I would love to hear that thing run after all the talks we had about it before you rebuilt the motor....

Hope you get it running soon!

Really? Do you know the road that Wegmans is on? Well keep going towards the 33 on that road (I wanna say it's union road but i'm not positive..) and on the left side of the road you will run into a comic book store. (they sell comics, collectors cards, etc..) It's right by there and the U-Crest Firehall.
There is no power in the garage except for the next bay over in ONE outlet, I could bring lots of extension cords and maybe a space-heater or Torpedo.. but that's about all I have.
My car will be at the mechanics for most of this week (my Park Ave.) as I side-swiped a freaking curb and bent the rim and control arm.. but let me know when you are going to have time so I can work someting out

Hm.. let me try to work this out. I dont know when I'm getting my car back so I dont know if I will be able to make it If I can't then maybe I can have a friend drive me
How "early" or "late" are you talking about though? If we do it early in the morning I might not have my car, but there WILL be light. If we do it later at night I will more than *likely*, but not certainly, have my car but there will be zero lighting except for what we bring.

EDIT: Do you know off the top of my head if I need to shim the starter or no? I dont have another starter because I dont know if the one i have now is shot, or it just needs to be shimmed. I have the shim though if that helps..
