Since I have my 71'&73' NOVAS totally done and restored and my 01' SS is doing well, This Winter I plan on working on my 03' Silverado LS1. I already have the exterior mods taken care of, now it is time to work on the engine mods. I will do the little stuff first, then there might be a power adder in the truck's future.

My winter project will be going to small claims court and suing the F*cker who did my heads. About 6 months after installation damper in the springs break and valve seals leak. This is without taking the car to the track.

Now that we're settled in the new house: I have two projects:

1) get some heat in the garage!

2) I really hope to find enough time ( and money) to get the car done by spring. I have to finish putting the 383 together and installed, supercharger, Electromotive computer, fuel pumps, long tubes, and all the other parts I collected installed. I think figuring out the best place to mount the tech II and then building the new wiring harness is going to be the hardest part of the whole project.

As long as it doesn't have a three foot wing and neon lights all around it etc... it sounds like a pretty cool car to me

It probably sounds like a leaf blower! Is that 380hp at the rear wheels? Sorry, I couldn't help myself, you left the door wide open. What are you using, the GM supercharger with NOS?

All I have to do this winter is take the car down to Mufflex and they will install a new custom Offroad Y-pipe, fix my header leak, machine flanges if needed, install new plugs and hopefully a new Lt4 starter, mabee have them make a custom intake for my blower to get more boost. Then I am off to Bryan Herter to get my car Dyno Tuned with WideBands o2s.

Last winter the 383 went in, then in spring the blower went on and I got a STREET tune from Bryan Herter from PCMForless. I am expecting around a ~35HP increase or so with these new mods/fixes and the Dyno Tune with WideBands O2. I cant wait!

Thx,
Claude

Ack. That sucks.

My boyfriend is going through a similar ordeal with the company that did his torque convertor. They set the stall wrong and when he sent it back for them to fix it, they took his credit card number to bill him for the shipping back and they billed him a couple of hundred dollars instead. They said they freshened it. Riiiiiight. The best part is that it still isn't right.

My new project:

Sold my solid roller 396 NA setup. New motor: 383, Vortech YS trim, big intercooler, fuel system. Probably wont run until the summer though.
