Well I finally did it!

I just thought I'd let everyone know that I finally drove the camaro yesterday for the first time in 11 1/2 weeks. It felt great to drive it in nice weather. It hurt driving it but I did it anyways.

For those of you who don't know, I took a nasty fall at a junkyard on 5/31 and severely dislocated my left knee. I know, I'm an idiot!! As of right now I can only bend it about 60 degrees but its SLOWLY getting better. This summer has been a complete waste but at least I can finally drive the car again, sort of. Sorry guys, I guess I just needed to vent.

Don't be sorry! Glad to hear you can drive your car again.

My summer was shot too (school work). I can't even believe we're in the middle of August already.

I know the feeling. I dont drive mine much, but when I do its soooo much fun! Glad to hear the knee is getting better. I hurt my knee over the winter. Slipped on a snow covered wooden platform at a customers site during one of the numerous snow storms last year. I was only on light duty for 3 weeks... but I felt the pain for weeks. I know first hand how a knee injury can really put a strain on your daily routine. Its not fun, not at all. And to think all I had was a bad sprain and a bruised knee cap. Now get out there and DRIVE!!!!!

Oh I plan on driving it now! What has really made things tough is the fact that I'm a tech at a chevy dealer so I'm in work boots and on my feet on the hard shop floor all day long. I only had 2 weeks off from work, and thats only because I used up all my vacation days. Working has been tough but I had no choice! I just hate getting out of those damn tiny Cavaliers!!!! All I have to say is that knee injuries are horrible!

Glad to hear you're up driving again man. You should be good for a trip to the track before summer is out.

I sure hope so. I can't quite shift it fast enough yet, but I'm sure I'll be good to go again in a few weeks.

If you wanna go with the best street slick, get the ET Streets!
You can expect 1.8 60 ft times and that will in turn lower your 1/4 times to 12.6ish.

Good luck.
