Weather vent...

Why is it that there's not a drop in months, but as soon as I want to do some cruising, meeting up with people and other activities with the 97 TA does it have to rain steadily all flippin day?

I thought there was a law in Pa., that forbids such weather on a weekend?

I think I'll go burn a tree in the fireplace...

Re: Weather vent...

i know that feeling. parallels seting up a dyno day, having 30 people promised, and a car show rolls into town.

Re: Weather vent...

Well I'm just "cruising" in the garage. I'm doing the heat cycles that way. One good thing... saves the aggravation of jacking the car up and down to go driving. I'm just leaving it up on the jack and reving the engine. All the neighbors are inside because of the rain so they are being too bothered by my antics and since the car is backed into the garage the SLP loudmouth isn't so obnoxious as it would be if the car was nose in.

Well another beer and a wait....

...and you got it video. I like to see that. I'm also trying to figure out the thought process; "I gotta do something... hmmmmmm... oh, I know! I'll set my air bags off! Wooohooooo!!!"

Re: Weather vent...

thought process.... I was talking to my friend about how much clutter I have in my garage and its because I am a pack rat. I always think I can sell it. But I never can. He said what do you have that you have tried to sell? I said 2 stock air bags for example... tried to sell 3 times and the 3rd time for very cheap.. no luck. He said then trash them. I said but what if they go off in the trash truck? He said set them off now...

then the light bulb came on and we set off the bags in the driveway, lol

Re: Weather vent...

I thought about selling them to an auto body shop. My brother-in-law works for one. He said they are all over the place... I could get $20 for each. Personally it was worth the $20 to rig up some wires and set them off for the fun.

When they get bored at work they do the same think. Only he said to lay a smaller steering wheel on on the ground and put a 5 gal bucket over it then set it off. The bucket launches 50-60 feet in the air, lol...

Hes getting me a few more to play with.... hehehehe

20 years later they are worthless... I tried selling them several times for relatively cheap so I thought. I offered them up on several boards at $75 for both plush shipping and didnt get a single bite. I always thought they were worth something too, but now they are definately worth nothing, lol....

But we had fun setting them off!
