I counted 4 of us in Street Eliminator class and 1 running in HighSchool. Most got spanked in the first round. I went serious red in round three. Oh well, Lick the wounds, rebuild all of the broken, bent, and worn stuff from the yearlong abuse, and figure out how to go a bit faster and more consistant next year.

Steve, congrats for getting there in the first place. Then getting into the 3 round against the best racers in Division 1. Maybe next year I'll be there. I'll still be running Steet class short-shifting to maintain 12.0's. That is if I ever get the engine back in the car.

Congratulations! Just getting there is something special.

I am heading to Norwalk on Wednesday for the IHRA version... I competed at DelMar twice at the NHRA event, lost in round one the first time, then the second year went red in round one and was spanked in the Race of Champions.

At the IHRA finals, I had a red, then second round loss the following year. Last year I blew the tranny all over the burnout box in the Race of Champions so I never even made it to round one. Hopefully this year I will have a better go of it.
