The Valley Forge meet is this Sunday the 27th. Im trying to see if theres still interest. Anyone needs directions PM me an adress and ill take care of it for you. Im going tomorrow to make sure everything is good with the park rangers and find a big parking lot. My friend is bringing the grill in his jeep if everyone wants to BBQ.

I just found out about this, and kinda had other plans of putting my car back together this weekend, but shoot me an email with the details and I will check with the wife...

a suggestion from a Pastreetracing member.. when you pull into the welcome center follow the signs to behind the building where there are a few parking lots. bear a right to the long rectangular ones. Illl be there with my friend and he will be in a jeep with the grille hopefully. From there we can caravan to a nice place.

 

*update* I have no way of getting a grille over there at this point and i debate wether or not they would let me bring one into the park.. Anyways after our caravan to a nice parking lot.. sometime maybe we can caravan to some pizza place or everyone can just pick up food along the way if thier hungry.. i don know.. anyone can chime in here

 

1) I'm hanging on the fence with the weather. The 97 TA doesn't care too much for rain and we're looking at 40% chance of thunderstorms. If I force the issue, the 97 TA will go out of its way to spin it's tires and fishtail just out of spite. Drives me nuts. So I'm playing the waiting game...

2) My choice would be to bring my own Wawa hoagie. Most park rules are that "fires permitted in park-supplied grills only." I just signed a contract for a pavillion at Peace Valley Park and that's one of the rules. Along with no alcohol, glass containers and pets must be on a leash. Glad the wife won't be coming because I hate wearing that collar....

Yeah... it doesn't look for us and a f-body gathering.

It's spritzing up here near Doyelstown, the roads are wet and the rest of the day doesn't look much better. Some of the thunderstorms this afternoon are suppose to be heavy ones. So I'm going to keep the 97 TA parked and cozy inside the garage for the day.

Next weekend is Labor Day weekend. Maybe Sunday would be better for you? Your call...
