Suggestions for Radar detector...
I'm making a run to Dayton, Ohio this year. I like to get a radar detector without incurring a mortgage, if you know what I mean. I try to do the speed limit, but the 97TA either runs at 55mph on back roads, or at 80mph on the highway... maybe it's a throttle body problem...

I have a BEl 980 and they a very good. I rarely use it and I am likely going to sell it.
That and the V1 are going to be your biggest responses. Also the Passport 8500 seems good.
If your interested in the BEL980 let me know

I use a Bel 980. It does the trick.
