Re: Street Wars at Etown Sunday the 14th

change in plans for me too, I took off monday from work. That leaves me with the whole weekend to start and finish my next home improvement project. I'm moving my hot water heater from the closet to the laundry room where it should be and building a pantry in the kitchen. I need at least 2 full days to do this so I am going to start tomorrow morning, finish up on sunday and have Monday as a back up incase something goes wrong. I'll worry about racing next season too

I'm working on a custom built in entertainment center in the basement today and tomorrow.

If the weather is nice, I'll be doing Trophy Marathon at e-town next weekend, the 20th. After that it will be putting the stock rear tires back on and collecting dust...

Well after a hard day at work I finally have the hot water heater moved. Of course I did run into a problem... the original "chimney" for the house is made of sheet metal. I took it aapart and to my suprise I had 3 layers of tin to get thru before I actually made it to the hot stack. Long story short I have the heater working again and today I build the pantry.

Ron, I cant go next weekend... it looks like I may not see you again for a while. Do you want me to just mail those caps to ya? It wouldn't be a big deal.

Jax, she got it on Friday. It's way nice. Heated leather seats, sunroof, bose cd, etc. 5.7 hemi 330hp, 5 speed auto, 3.73 posi and just happens to have a hd towing package. I'm allowed to use it to tow the race car when she's using my Silverado to pull her camper. The buttometer says its as quick as my ragtop. I'm sure it will run quicker than the the 15.99 heavy eliminator cutoff Is it right to be happy when your race car breaks???????

Bri...
It's no big deal on the caps. "GREGG 97Z" sent me his and now I owe him a few beers. I'll have to get some vinyl overlays, though, to cover the chevy emblems... kinda of confusing on the TA.

Oh yeah... I finally figured out about tapping the other pedal on the left when I'm four or five car lengths ahead. Didn't hand over a win on a silver platter because I broke out for a change...

I'll probably being parking the TA anyways. The spackling isn't drying fast enough in the basement, which is putting me behind schedule on the sanding and next coat, and then primer and paint. Carol wants the mess cleaned up before turkey day. I have been taking photos... of the work. not the mess.

So Jim, you will be racing the jeep next season, huh?
