SS Wheels and Salad Shooters

I have 2 Chrome 10 Spoke SS wheels in decent condition and 4 Salad Shooters in near mint condition. If you are interested let me know. I'll drive to meet people in the Ohio/PA area.

Re: SS Wheels and Salad Shooters

I am asking $150 for the (4) salad shooters, they are in near mint condition with a small spec of corrosion like the end of a pin size right where the lip meets the face of the rim. You honestly cant see it 2 feet away. No road rash, and these wheels only saw this one winter since 1994. I had to look real hard to find anything on these. Clear coat is immaculate. I'll send the pics asap, I had them on another computer that went hay-wire, so I'll have to go home and get some more. I assure you they are what I claim, I almost didnt want to swap them out for some new ones but Chrome was too tempting. They have, 57-58k. But the the car was stored all winters until this one in which I had no beater to substitute. They were taken off a few weeks ago. Tires are still mounted but I'll take them off no problem.

The Chrome SS 10 spokes go for $70 each but have a few blemishes. One has some road rash around the lip with some peeling and corrosion in the radial side of the width. The other has a few pimples in the chrome not visible while standing a few feet away. I'd like to do them in a pair is possible. But will seperate if necessary.

Re: SS Wheels and Salad Shooters

would i have to take care of that corrosion?
i'm just wondering if it would spread to the rest of the wheel and destory it (this is only on one wheel right?)
and is it 150 for just the wheels, or the tires with them, or what?
thanks man, sorry about all the questions
i'll await the pics

Re: SS Wheels and Salad Shooters

Yea, I'll have to take a closer look at that one spot, perhaps some polish would take it off. I just was in a hurry when I was taking the pics and finding spots. It just on one wheel and didnt look like it was threatening the rest of the wheel at all. $150 can be for just the wheels or I can include the tires, but two are about 2% tread and the other two like 15%. I was hurting for new tires as you can see, driving in the snow. No problems with questions, I'll get pics the next time I am home, infact, I may even try to get them off the other computer if it lets me. I am also willing to meet you somewhere between Y-town and Cinci. Thanks for the interest.

The SS wheels are sold.

Re: SS Wheels and Salad Shooters

i guess i'd only be interested in the wheels
having that low of treadlife won't even be that good for burnout tires
when you plan on being home and being able to send the pics?
no hurry really, just curious

o, and what do you have on your car now? chrome ss 10spokes?

Re: SS Wheels and Salad Shooters

I am hoping to be home either Saturday or Mon/Tue. Sorry for the wait I just work alot and cant get home 1.5 hour round trip to get pictures real often, gas is a major issue, I am sure you can relate. I have Chrome SS 10 spokes wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. I'll get the pics asap though.
