Re: Special Thanks: MySlowCamaro

no need for thanx. few others showed up, some after i left. 97ta was there also. your driving wasnt pathetic, just a whole differant ballgame when you are the passenger and not behind the wheel. so yeah, i was getting nervous around the curves on 611.. as for my car, it dyno in at a disappointing 370rwhp with no nice curve on the sheet. my first pull was set at 1 to 1 in 3rd and it shifted screwing up the pull but dale redid it and we kept having problems with it shifting so he tried yet agian from 2nd and got a better curve. i definately need a larger intake and bigger injectors as it seemed to drop off. now i have to question the people who originally dyno'ed the car before i picked it up. they gave me a reading of 434.6rwhp and 461tq. so either it was a bogus slip, or something really got screwed up. overall im disappointed, since i put out $6k and getting less power than some on here with just a cam. back to the drawing board to work out the bugs. it was good to meet everyone and hope to see you all again soon. 97ta and i talked about getting people together for a track day. we'll see how that goes.

always up for a track day. Yea a supra took that same turn at 190 a week ago and miraculously skidded out instead of rolling it.. It looks sharp but isn't all to bad! =) but ya, def hit me up on a track day... i prefer englishtown if all possible, atco is kinda bogus anymore with rice and maple grove is like stick land with lots of cows!

Re: Special Thanks: MySlowCamaro

That was definitely major cool. Didn't realize the Dyno was in my own backyard. Glad to get a baseline done so I can definitely say how much horsey-power headers and cat-back will do for the pretty much stock LT1 97 TA. The 97 TA did it's expected 250rwhp.

As to "noise" ( ), E-town regs for most of their "theme" days;
Street appearing cars only, mufflers required
Exhaust must extend to the rear seam of the driver's door.
I think it's something like 90dbs at 50ft, but I'm not sure since it doesn't affect me.... yet.

But I'll make a post on the board here on my next foray over to the track, but I believe it will be Mustang vs F-Body III, Saturday, June 11th. Be glad to do a caravan.

Sometime I Like to try out Cecil County race track. I'm told it is quicker to get to than E-town or Atco.
Atco gives faster times, but I only go there on Pontiac day or something of the like. I'm allergic to lawn-mowers-that-are-ready-to-blow-up car engines. Myslowcamaro is music to my ears...

Re: Special Thanks: MySlowCamaro

we'll have to go back up to get dyno'ed again when everryone gets their mods finished. stylezta with the cam, 97ta with the lt's, and i dont know if schmidt519 was adding anything soon. also e-town is cool with me tho, worst case scenerio is i dont get to run, but still cool to have a day out. btw, stylezta, your buddies deli is pretty decent.
