I took a short 1 min vid of my car running and what not for you guys to hear... but I have no idea where to go from here. I recorded it on my DVD camcorder and the vid is now on a DVD...

What next? Seems to be in a .VOB format what ever that is.


BTW, I am pretty sure I can go from the camera directly to teh computer if I had the right software. Aparently the Panasonic software and driver is not compatable with Vista....

well I seem to have a problem with that for some reason. I uploaded it to cz28.com and for some reason it only has like 12 seconds of vid... I watch it here from my HD and its the whole thing... I dunno what happened. I'll try it again tomorrow.

I guess I cant copy the dvd... I need to somehow figure out how to get it off of the dvd and into the computer. I cant just go into windows explorer and copy it to the hard drive. I'm so computer dumb when it comes to this stuff

Thanks Bro... I just got the whole thing p here also. I ended up getting the Panasonic camera software installed and it didnt help. So I started with some research on the interner with the help of Mr. Google and vound a VOB to MPG conversion program. Now its all up. Still not sure why onl 15 sec plays when I upload the .VOB... I mean it plays you would think it would play the whole thing.


BTW, my air card lost signal yesterday on my whay home. I figured it would. Thanks for your help.
