Last weekend my wife & I stopped up at Rita's in Newtown after the car show at Shadybrook Farms.It was a nice day,we got our water ice & went around the side to sit & enjoy,we were almost done when my wife looks around to the front of the bldg & says,that lady is sitting on your car..... I got up & walked around to the front parking lot & here's this woman sitting on my front fender talking to some friends.I couldn't believe it,I told her to please get off my car,which she did & she apologized,but they're looking at my like"what's the big deal ?" Luckily I didn't see any scratches,but thanks for letting me vent

 

I would be pissed too, I prolly would have said "hey Fat@$$, this isnt a public bench"

 

I would have f'bombed her into the pavement... but that's just uncool long-time-in-the-military me.

That's why I always park away in corner of establishments like that. I feel for ya, man.

 

After hearing where this happened, I had a long rant too, but thought better of it. I didn't want to generalize nor offend anyone, so.....

You showed a good deal of restraint my friend. After the things I've seen while in Newtown, (and I've lived here over 30 yrs.), I'm not surprised some a-hole thought nothing of sitting on another persons car. I don't mean to "lump" everyone from Newtown together, but there is quite a bit of "I only think of myself and don't give a damn about anyone or their property".

We had an incident last year, non-car related, where a storm brought a tree down, making the road impassable infront of the house. While I'm outside cleaning up the debris from the trees, some B!T@H in her SUV proceeds to drive up onto the yard to get around the tree! Fortunately, the B!T@H had vanity plates, and I was able to call the police.

I'm glad to see no damage was done to your car, and I apologize if I offended anyone with my rant. I'm just sick and tired of the attitude too many people have that they only give a d@mn about themselves, and don't car about anyone or anyone elses property

OK. I feel better now.

You said a mouthful there "99 SS.I couldn't agree with you more,I'm sick & tired of the "It's all about me" mentality around here.I don't know if it's like that everywhere,&it may very well be,but that definitely says it for Lower Bucks Co,in general,of course

 

Not to change the subject, but where in langhorne do you live steelerfan? I live about a 1/4 mile away from shadybrook in larual oaks. I did not even know there was a car show there last weekend.

 

I didn't either,we just kind of stumbled on it.We were actually going there to just look around at the other stuff they had.radio station 94.5 was there,too. I live right off Rt 413 in the Georgetown section behind Neshaminy Middle School,not far from St mary's

 

I'm glad to see someone else shares my feelings. That mentality seems to be prominent around here.

On a different "note", I'll have to meet up with you next time you're in the area to check out your Z.

 

Sounds great ! Also looks like yours is a bit faster than mine,I'm interested to hear what yours sounds like with the exhaust work you've had done.

Ha thats Bucks for ya and Id like to thank the Council Rock school district for bringing all these a-holes to the area. It's has gotten alot worse since that new super school/airport has opened in Holland.

That sounds like a great idea ! Name the time & place where we all can meet up & if at all possible you can count me in ! We can even meet at my house if that's agreeable.What ever the case we live close enough to each other that no one will have to drive more than 10 mins to get there
