Re: Rain, rain...

I'm so bored... I actually took photos of what needs to be removed in order to tighten the passenger side header bolts. (Driver's side bolts never needed to be tighten... )

Went looking for an 18mm plug to replace the AIR tubing but didn't find such at either Poop Boys or Home Dump. sigh. Purposely drove through some deep water to splash others 'cause I'm in an ugly weather mood.

yeah, its gonna cost me as much to prove him a fake as the intake itself. contacted a few p.i's in florida who he said was "harrasing" him. but have to pay a lawyer to present more of my case to paypal.

Re: Rain, rain...

Rain on Saturday's suck. I did pick up another Formula today. Black with light gray cloth. It will be Ian's first car ...if he pulles up his grades. Needs some work but not too bad. 89k, no t-top, auto, 2.73 gears, ac, etc. Black paint looks great in the rain. Will be different in tomorrow's sunlight.

Re: Rain, rain...

Not a TA, not a firebird... a formula.

Sometimes the black paint needs a good polishing cleaner. Then a few coats of your favorite polish, especially Zaino or the like, and it will perk the black right up. Today is a decent day to attend to that.

Scott, sorry to hear about your problems. That sucks. Hope it works out in your favor, and soon.

Those air dams and big rear spoiler only slow you down. This one really looks like a v6, 115mph speedo and all. When I give it to the lad it will run like a v6 too. Lt1 edit, top speed 54mph, rev limiter 3000, shift points 10mph. hahahahahhahha. Love to tool on the kid. A least it got him to stop looking at rice. Paint is not real bad. Some scratched. Black is unforgiving. I'm gona compound the car, black ebony, then wax. See Ron, no windex. Hey its not a "race" car.

ROFLMAO!!!! You killed me on that one. I was just talking about something similiar for my 15yr old to Carol this past weekend.

Black is unforgiving, but a buffer will make it compromise.

Re: Rain, rain...

Well, you can blame me for the rain. I just picked up the 96 SS on Friday so it's trying to rain every possible day. I did take it to work for half the day today so it will rain for 2 more days now!

Jeff, glad its you. I thought it was me. I really need a test and tune before the big race this Saturday at the Grove. I give up. The two time shots on Saturday will have to serve as the T&T.

Re: Rain, rain...

I'm so sick and tired of this rain. This is the most rain we've had. All summer it rain at all, dead grass, dry. It's the end of October and this is the greenest I've seen the grass. Today there is a snow advisory....7" in the higher elevations
