I dropped the car off yesterday to Ron Rhodes in DE for the newest addition. Its a wierd feeling not having the car here. I have done every single thing to that car, and never let anyone else work on it except me. But I am very comfortable letting Ron work his magic... I meet up with Dirk at Rhodes, and he gave me the tour, what an awsome shop. You can tell by looking at other projects he has ongoing that he really pays attention to detail. I dont think the car could be in better hands.

Back to the car, its in for an 8pt chromoly bar. Ron also talked me into going with a set of subframe connectors, that way he can have something stronger to attach the bar to. The price is going up some but I think it will be well worth it. I cant wait to get it back.

Dirk, if you get over there at all snap a few pics of the progress for me.

hehe, I thought you guys would freak... no I still own it, havent crashed it, but its not here. Its a little scarry walking into the garage and not seeing a bright red Z in there. I cant wait to get it back, Ron has some serious talent whan it comes to custom fabrication of chassis and cages. In 2 weeks I can start to get serious and really make the car fly.

Jim, sorry I didnt come down today, I was hanging the crown molding today and next thing I knew it was 530 , I figured by the time I got there I would have missed the first 2 rounds anyway. Dont worry bro, as soon as I get my baby back I'm gonna go racing. You have no idea how much its killing me to not be lined up with someone.

Yeah thats my car on QTP's site. Barry is a very good friend of mine and I get 99% of my parts from him. I dont make that known too much unless someone asks because QTP is not a sponsor here. Its an old pic, and the mods have changed a bit now... but thats my car. I kinda fell out of the loop for a year or so, but now I'm getting back into it and you will see some updated info and new pics soon.
