That's correct - $275 for the tune. Bryan usually can tune the car in 3 or 4 pulls which would be plenty for an hour.

Re: PCMForLess dyno day - NE Ohio

I know it's a bit late here, and i'm pulling this thread out of the grave, but is there anyway I could get in on this? My car should be done in about 2 weeks (le2 h/c), and I'm gonna need a dynotune. Thanks.

Yeah give Big Shot a call and schedule your tune - my cousin just installed his LE2 package this past weekend and we'll be tuning it that day as well.

Re: PCMForLess dyno day - NE Ohio

Hey Aaron,
Do we need to call Big Shot and actually schedule the dyno time? I sent my money to him via paypal about the end off Jan. I was just assuming that I would be notified what time I was scheduled for. But now I am wondering if I need to call and set up a time(since Z28_LT4 mentioned he has a time).

Thanks

Dustin

Re: PCMForLess dyno day - NE Ohio

You don't need to contact them unless you are only able to take a certain timeframe and have to leave. Otherwise, you will be slated to tune and can hang out with us and check out some of the other cars. I'm sure we will have other festivities going on to keep everyone occupied. With the number of cars that we have now I believe we will be running a 2 day event Saturday and Sunday, so you may want to contact Big Shot to see if there are openings left on either day.

Re: PCMForLess dyno day - NE Ohio

Sounds good, that is what I was expecting. I was planning on spending the day saturday and checking out the other cars. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing the boat or something.

Thanks

Darkhorse do you have a list of (screen names) names of people that will be there? I'm just curious to know what cars will be there. I'm hoping to see some POWER!!!!

Re: PCMForLess dyno day - NE Ohio

No sorry I don't - should see some upper 300's and 400rwhp cars tho. I haven't decided whether i'm going to dyno that day or not but I should be close to the 450-475rwhp range. I do know that there's gonna be a cool stroked LT1 powered Porsche 928 there - that should be very interesting. My cousin's Caprice 9C1 LE2 head/cam package should be in the upper 300 range too.

I don't mean to pull this thread from the grave but is everybody ready for Tommorow?

Yep - wife and I just washed the car (still not pretty) and she's taking me out to the movies for my 33rd birthday today!

I have to get a tune tomorrow - unfortunately (finances) - for some reason my tune is whacko and the car won't shift into second if I launch too hard. Gonna let Bryan fix her up and get back out to the track later in the day.

Yep, all ready. Hmm but you washed your car? Oh well, I didn't get around to that but I did check the fluids and cleaned the air filters.

Re: PCMForLess dyno day - NE Ohio

I have to work all night tonight (get off at 5:00am) then go home load the car and drive 150 miles on NO sleep. Lucky me! I have 2 bottles of N20 so tommorow should be interesting

Does anybody know if Bryan will do any part throttle tuning? My car is extremely rich. It burns my eyes idling and it gets fuel in the oil
