Where have you been ? I've been getting beaten up at ATCO all by myself. I might be in a red car this saturday.
I had some electric issues last weekend. If I can't get it sorted out by friday I plan to dust off the old drag radials and be there in a slow ragtop.

Im still here bro... I'm actually planning on going for real this weekend. This past sat I had to work, I already told them that it was the last time I am missing a race for work. Its over.
As for the sat before that... dude I just skipped it. Liz and I started to redo the master bedroom on Friday night. It was supposed to be paint and new carpet. By Sat morning I was ripping down the drywall with a friggin hammer. I gutted the entire room and then realized I had nowhere to sleep... doh!!!
Its about 80% done on my part now. then I sit back and wait for the carpet, should be here next week. Thats why i skipped the race, this room has to be done by the time the carpet comes in. I sent you e-mail last week about me working sat... didn't you get it? I hate aol.... grrrr
Anyway, I have enough of the room done now to get back to racing. I think the first half of the season is over for me, but i'm still going this weekend. The car goes in for the bar on the 17th so I may miss the following weekned... but we will see.
BTW, I've been checking up on the points and it seems you have racked up a few of them... did you go a few rounds last weekend?

Brian, no got your email. I went 4 rounds the saturday before. Went out round one this past one. As I was staginging the tach started swinging wildely back and forth. WTF. I looked up and saw the tree comming down and just launched... -034. What is worse the car next to me (an ATCO big gun) was having major issues, he ran .50 under his dial. I dropped from 23rd to 33rd. I just fixed the problem today. The secondary tach wire got fried by the headers.
Last Saturday just wasn't my day. I ran a .017 in the boggy race and didn't win that either.
Saturday is an early open 9:00am. Time to start mentally preparing for the next race. See ya there.
A bad day at the track is better than a good day at work.

Hey Jim, change of plans again. I talked to Ron today and he is just about ready for my car. So the project will be out of town getting the bar. He wont order any material untill he has the car so i have to drop it off to him early. He has been having problems with people calling in work, him ordering material and then getting a phone call the day before to cancel. He got a little tired of making special orders for tubing and material then having it sit in his inventory for months.
So how does an early day work? I would assume eliminations will start around 12-1? I honestly dont know if the Silverado will be fast enough to even qualify for heavy... only one way to find out i guess huh?
