NYS Park Police
Anyone have links or info on the NYS Park Police? Any info on exactly the things they would do in a typical day would be great also.
Thanks for any info.

They are state troopers with all the same authorities correct? So they can run the hwys etc as well?
My hockey coach knew a guy that was in the academy for 2 months and then went to the SS instead and said the trooper acedemy was harder by far.

The Park Police are actually Federal Government. They get paid on a GS wage scale. They actually have more authority than the State Police. They also have jurisdiction on Fereral property. Most local cops roll there eyes when the park police here pull someone over off Federal or National Park Service property. They still do on occasion and seems legit,
