Numidia - double payouts this weekend.
Friday - Payout to win doubled: $35 to race, I think it will be $200 to win ( each class - Street auto and Street stick), the pay out both classes not instead of doing the run off between the two classed?
Street = No electronics ( trans brake / delay box ) Two step, slicks/open headers now legal.
Outlaw = Trans break/electronics is outlaw = $200.
Sat and Sunday Street - $35 to enter - $300 to win. $10 Calcutta. Foot brake class.
Saturday they are having 2 jetcars and fireworks.
8/30 there will be a car show and $5,000 foot brake race, race fee is $150.
I ran this weekend using Bob D's SSR. Man was I having trouble getting my lights right, I was a red light machine in practice! Funny how much trouble I was having without a clutch peddle!
I thought I had it all figured out and was doing good with my lights,,,, well, until the final when I went .014 Red.
Guess Kazman is gonna need to work with me, I'm thinking I might have gone a tad deep?
Still cool since it was the first time a ran a stab~n~steer in comp in over 20 years! Of course I got my butt busted by everyone the rest of day for LOOSING!
man I REALLY got the bug to get the Z back to the track now!!!!

man I REALLY got the bug to get the Z back to the track now!!!!Went thru a week of de-tox. Did a bit better this Sunday running Street at the Grove. Cut a .007 and .017 in timeshots, then .016, .012, and a "bad" .041 in eliminations. Cut a .041 light then went over my dial by .017 and loss.
I didn't race, just worked all weekend. Bob Decided to also up Pro and Super from the $1,200 to $2,500 and we ended up with allot of cars. I'm hoping to be ready by Mid August after I'm back from vacations and traveling with work.
I only managed to get the car torn apart. Track is colsed this Sat so I hope to be able to get the car running, hoping Harold's Opti is the cure? If it works I'll order a new GM unit.
Looks like Bob D. is going to be doing more with Street as well as some more bigger money events for foot brake classes so I want to try to get back in the groove.
BTW, Looks like Harhart got's his 62 figured out and his lights are getting lower and more consistent! He's back to beating on all the other racers. He has got to be one of the best top end drivers I've ever seen! He ran Fri in Outlaw, Sat and Sun in Street and Pro and just kept going round after round.
3rd is the start of the money rounds at the Grove. Street is $40 to enter, 3rd round looser gets $30. $30 each winning round, runner up $175, winner $350. Usually goes 6 rounds to win. I got most of my entry fee for next weekend's race.

Glad you made it up Jim, but you left before I got to buy you dinner!
BTW, Mr. H did his normal, won Street ( beat Watkins in the final ), and won Pro.
So he had two shots at King of the track.
He killed the bike, and lost to superpro (dragster), close race too Harhart had a 20 something, so it was Harthart and the dragster in the final. Harhart just said "Expect a better light this time. He didn't get a better light, but I guess he got in the other drivers head, the digger went .003 red!
Another KOT for his collection!

With the lights I was cutting I just tucked my tail down and scurried home. lol. The track was great. I really enjoyed the day and everyone was extremely courtious and friendly. It felt like an old fashioned country fair. I'm going to think about running there next points season. Only drawback is that its almost 2 hours away and almost all the way up hill. Hopefully I'll be able to get some time on the practice tree this week and will try to cut better lights at RP next Sunday. My first time shot was basically junk due to me staging way too shallow (14.11) and really jumping on the tree. Next 2 runs I staged where I was supposta (14.26 and 14.25) be but missed the tree twice
.120 and a .110 and out. I knew I was bad on the tree so I tried to push Mary Ellen out and dumped her in the box. I did scrub off .02 however she did a good job on the top end and did back into me a bit. I believe Mr H won the King hat at Island this year too. I will regroup a bit and try again later this year. I have 2 more points races at Raceway. I should be able to make it back to NU this season.

Soungs good. We plan to do some type of track day towards fall. I'll have my car running so me buying you dinner is offical. Bob D. was busting on me all day about calling people out and not having a running car.
