Yes it is, how have you been, I haven't seen you around in awhile.

 

My car had the worst summer ever last one. I only made it to Norwalk twice, both were before my rebuild. I didnt get it done till the end of the season so I only got to Dragway 42 once because Norwalk was having the Chrysler Classic (no one drives Chryslers.) That place is the biggest dump known to man. My car ran like **** also, so I wasnt very pleased with the results.

Right now she's sitting at home (Im at school in Dayton) with the rear end half way torn out and needing a lot of TLC. I'll get it straightned out over spring break though.

So why did you have to rebuild it? My car is doing good, I just got done with a supercharger install last week, so i'm anxious for summer to come

I rebuilt it because I was doing heads, cam, and intake so I figured 120k on the stock stuff wasnt a good idea. When we pulled it apart it looked great though.

Oh yea I was lookin through some of my old Norwalk digital pics and I found two of your car at High School Nats (I think its yours) from a few years ago if you want them. My photography skills suck though.

 

yeah, i'd like to se those pics if you have them. I have the powerdyne 6.5 kit, i'm anxious to drive it once I put insurance on it in the spring

Hey, good pictures, thanks!! That's my car alright, that's funny you have them. Well the best I got my car to run was a 13.56 @101 but that was once. 13.80's were more common. We'll see how much better I can do this year. I'm hoping for low 13's but who knows. I just hope it doesn't break!! I doubt i'll race a whole lot, I didn't last year either, but it's fun to go watch. Hope to see you there more often though!

 

Just curious but did you run 13.56 stock? I know the 97 SS are pretty fast I just don't know if they were low 14 cars like 80% of the other LT1s

 

With a S/C yu are expecting only low 13's?

 

Hey, if I only expect low 13's and get that and no faster I can't be disappointed right? If I expect 12's and don't hit them, i'd be disappointed. I'm not sure what i'll hit, I won't know until I get it to the track. I'm anxious to see, but i won't be racing a whole lot. My 13.56 was when the car was cold and everything was perfect. I had a hypertech chip, air foil, 160 thermo, k&n filter but that's all. This is a rare quick time with the 30th ANN SS like mine as far as i've seen. My holdup were the bad 60' times. Stock tires equal tire spin, or bogging. I'm not much for trying to break things with slicks or anything like that so I was satisfied with the times I ran. It's just for fun right!!!
