hey my name is Ray, im from macedonia ohio. im 17 years old and...... i own a 1990 honda prelude si, cringe.....dont hate me lol. dont worry, i dont race it, or "rice" it out as you would say. its auto and i know its not fast, so i dont pretend it to be. dont let all the ricers put down all us other clean hondas. i will be using it for auto-x and actually is a very nice car. im doing springs, struts, swaybars and struttower bars to it. but anyways i will be getting a new car at the end of winter(keeping my honda also) and i just fell in love with the 98-2002 camaro z28's and ss's with the 5.7L and 6spd. i will be looking more and more when summer comes around. how much should i look to spend on a 98-2002 z28 or ss with about 30k miles, 6spd, 5.7L? i saw a red one from around the NE area, it was a 99 z28 with 26k miles, 6spd, t-tops, red, year 2000 wheels, bilstein shocks and eibach springs, for i think 15K. hopefully i can find soemthing like that again when im ready to buy. do you think it will be easy? well i just wanted to introduce myself and hope to show you my new camaro soon. thanks, Ray
Hi Ray and Welcome! Good luck on your quest for a Z28 or SS you will be happy with either. The market for these cars seems to be pretty good, you should have no problem finding one that suits your needs.

welcome Ray !!!
We won't hate your import. If someone does, just brush it off. I think it is great that you are starting your F-body hobby now before you even get your car. That way you will be well informed of what works and what doesn't. If you have any questions about performance upgrades or other stuff, just fire away and you should get some honest answers here. Don't worry about finding another F-body when your ready, there are plenty out there. Just give yourself some time when your ready that way, you don't jump the gun and get a car you didn't actually want.

what the hell, i cant decide what i want to do. i want to do stuff to my prelude and want to store it in the winters because its in such nice shape for a 1990. but if i get a camaro, my lude will have to be my winter car. or i can do stuff to my prelude, store it in the winter, and get a beater. this is so much stress deciding on what the hell to do. my mom likes my prelude more than her 2002 pt cruiser, maybe i can sell it to her, she can sell her PT,i can get my camaro, and then get a pos for the winter.
